The Physical Product team, led by Kristina, is looking for a new member for the position of Buyer for a food category.
What you will do:
Research market trends and customer needs to discover new product ideas and expand our range effectively.
Develop products that fit Vilgain’s brand and appeal to our target audience.
Source reliable, high‑quality, and cost‑effective suppliers for our own‑brand products.
Negotiate strong deals to get the best pricing, terms, and stock levels.
Collaborate with teams to plan product details, packaging, and pricing.
Manage the full product journey, from idea to launch and ongoing improvement.
You will likely succeed if you:
Have proven experience in product development, sourcing, or buying roles within the food or consumer goods industry.
Are an innovative thinker with a passion for food and brand development, always looking for creative solutions.
Possess a solid understanding of supply chain management, ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes.
Excel in negotiation skills, capable of securing the best deals and favorable terms.
Thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects at once.
