Cosmetics & Household Product Specialist

As part of our New Product Development team, you will play a key role in the development and introduction of high‑quality products to the Czech and European markets.

As our NPD Project Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, negotiation and  development of new products in the category under the Vilgain brand. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Seeking out and selecting new producers and suppliers
• Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best terms, prices, and quantities
• Analyze market trends and sales data
• Evaluating offers and orders to ensure that products meet our quality 
• Assuring correct labeling, documentation and certifications
• Collaborating with other teams, especially with marketing, finance, and management to introduce new products to the market

About you

• You must have the ability to negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best terms and pricing for the company.
• You must have analytical skills: You will be responsible for analyzing market trends and sales data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
• You must have attention to detail: Checking product specification sheets, monitoring product quality, and reviewing the product range requires a keen eye for detail.
• You must have excellent communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and other departments, both verbally and in writing.
